Artist Exhibit: September/October 2018
Phillip grew up in Leicester Massachusetts, spending much of his time exploring the lush forests of New England and all the nearby fields of farmland. His love for the natural world and its inhabitants, both long extinct and still thriving today, captured his imagination and fueled a desire to render them with pencil and paper. Through various classes, Phillip explored new mediums and went on to study fine art painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. During his studies, Phillip experimented with conceptual art making ranging from sculptural mediums, to performance and photography based works. Upon graduating, Phillip started a mobile tintype photo booth, producing on site vintage portrait photographs at fairs and events. Phillip continues aspiring to a mobile lifestyle and hopes to one day design and build a tiny house from which he can travel and share his artwork across America. He hopes his example will inspire like minds to follow individual inner callings.
