Applewood Smoked Babyback Ribs

2 racks baby back ribs
1 Atkins Farms Macintosh apple
small white onion
1-2 bottles Appalachian Naturals Applewood Smoked Barbecue Sauce

Rinse ribs, drain, place in slow cooker with sliced apple and onion. Set slow cooker to low and let cook overnight, about 6 to 7 hours. Carefully remove ribs from crock pot, place on barbecue grill and set flame to medium. Warm up barbecue sauce over a low flame. As the ribs begin to sear, brush on barbecue sauce. Cook ribs with the meat-side up, covered with sauce. Flip ribs once and put a light layer of sauce on rib side, cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Flip ribs one final time, cover with sauce, turn flame off and cover grill. Let sit for 10 minutes. Place ribs on a serving platter and add one last light coating of sauce. Serve immediately with extra warm barbecue sauce as needed.
